Second Shot | Photography

Photography is a fascinating way of capturing history, keeping the past alive and allowing you to think ‘what happened next’. There is so much that a photograph can tell you: the locale; the people; the subjects’ body language; dark secrets; and, maybe more importantly, about the photographer.

I read somewhere that every photograph should tell a story; if it doesn’t, then there isn’t much point to the photograph. In some ways, I agree although I sometimes can’t resist a photo for a photo’s sake. Things just look pleasant that need to be shared with others.

But, more than anything else, this is a repository tracking my favourite hobby, letting me see how far I’ve come (or gone) in improving my ability to compose a visual feast.
